EPA Levy going up.. up... and you guessed it up!

Future levy ratesIn future years, the government has announced that solid waste levy is intended to rise to the following rates per tonne.
 2017–18 $87
2018–19 $100
2019–20 $103

2019-20 will be the end of a vicious upward trend. Was less than $50 3 years ago... Its a good thing! Make us think more about our decisions to just throw something and perhaps seek alternate options. Plenty of waste now can be recycled and plenty of things we turf could easily have its career prolonged at another business or home.
